Evplan is a free, open-data EV trip planner and charging map built specifically for India. Give it an origin and destination, your vehicle (or your battery's real specs), and it plans charging stops along real Indian highways — not straight-line guesses — picking chargers by actual reliability, not just proximity.
Indian EV owners already know the pain: trip planners that route you to a charger that's been dead for six months, or one that quietly vanished when the operator went under. Evplan started after reading through real complaints on EVJoints and Team-BHP — chargers marked "available" that were dark on arrival, routes that missed known-good chargers a few hundred meters off, no way to see if a charger is actually free right now.
Evplan is built around three ideas: reliable open data — Open Charge Map, OpenStreetMap, and (optionally) Google's live availability, never a paywall; reliability over blind trust — every charger gets a confidence score from real signals (source corroboration, recency, crowd-sourced check-ins), so the route doesn't send you somewhere shaky when a better option exists nearby; and never stranding the driver — every routing decision degrades gracefully rather than failing outright.
No ads, no account required, no data sold. It's built because the existing options weren't good enough for Indian roads.
